DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE
Underwater massage treatment is another type of hydro massage. It is a massage with water of a certain temperature under pressure by means of a hose. This method has a positive effect on the body as a whole. Due to the procedure, blood pressure decreases and blood circulation improves. The treatment strengthens muscle tone and activates all vital systems in the body.
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED?
The water temperature in the bath is 30-37°C. The patient is immersed in water and lies in the bath for 5-7 minutes, getting used to the water temperature and relaxing. Then the massage begins. It is conducted using a flexible hose connected to the pump. Water comes out with a jet through this hose under a pressure of 1 to 3-4 atm, providing a massage effect. The total session duration is 15-30 minutes, more rarely up to 45 minutes, every other day. The treatment course includes 7-8 baths, it is recommended to be repeated every six months.
