Sollux

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE

Sollux is a treatment method based on the infrared radiation exposure. The treatment causes the skin temperature rise and dilates blood vessels. This, in turn, increases blood supply and prevents inflammatory processes.

HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED?

The Sollux lamp provides one of the types of luminotherapy. It is intended for treatment by means of thermal infrared and visible actinothermal irradiation. For local irradiation, the lamp is placed on the side of the patient, at a distance of 50 cm-1 m, and the rays are directed to the appropriate part of the body. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes. For the best result, it is necessary to undergo the entire treatment course of 10-15 procedures.
